Bothell Public Works truck stolen

  • Bothell Police Department

BOTHELL -- Someone stole a City of Bothell Public Works truck last weekend and police are looking for suspects.
The truck was stolen from a fenced parking lot at the Public Works Operations Center, 21239 20th AVE SE, in the Snohomish County portion of the city. The break-in occurred around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
The suspects attempted to light a Public Works van on fire and stole a Public Works truck, Bothell Police Capt. Denise Langford said.
The stolen truck is a white, 2009 Ford F-350 flat-bed utility truck with Washington exempt license plate number 49730D.
The truck is equipped with toolboxes and a crane that is bolted and wired to the truck. It has "City of Bothell" logos on the driver and passenger side doors.
Police have recovered items left behind at the scene and have video surveillance footage, Langford said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bothell Police Department tip line at 425-487-5551.
