YAKIMA — King’s beat Chelan in three close sets, then defeated Cedar Park Christian 3-1 to move on to the semifinals of the 1A state volleyball tournament. The first match was decided 25-21, 25-23, 25-20. King’s dropped the first set against Cedar Park Christian 26-28, but fought back to win three in a row 25-14, 25-17, 25-20. King’s plays Colville at 1 p.m. today for a chance to play the winner of Castle Rock vs. Lynden Christian in the championship match at 7 p.m.
