A winning tradition. That's what this tournament is about. We're almost to the Final Four, and all the old-time Thanksgiving powerhouses are still on the table with a chance to win it all. People vote with their hearts more than with their taste buds. How else can you explain pumpkin pie's march to the Edible 8? Is it really better than the cheesecake and apple crisp it vanquished in the past two rounds? This round, we have the ultimate pie showdown of pumpkin vs. apple; cranberries against green bean casserole; a heated fight between stuffing and gravy; and baked ham's long-shot bid against roast turkey. We're not betting on the pig. How it works: HeraldNet polls decide which dishes advance in each round and which get fed to the dog. The voting schedule: • Round 1, Nov. 8-10; • Round 2, Nov. 11-14; • Round 3 (Sweet 16), Nov. 14-16; • Round 4 (Edible 8), Nov. 16-18; • Final Four, Nov. 19-21; • Championship, Nov. 22-23. Check out the updated tournament bracket here and vote below!
