The food has flown, the dust has settled, and we've arrived at the Final Four with powerhouses out of every region. Roast turkey never faced a real challenge in the main dishes region, fattening up on weaker competition. Stuffing emerged from the starches region, knocking off mashed potatoes and gravy along the way. Now the two face off in the first of our Final Four matchups. Do you still really want turkey now that there's no gravy to go with it? Our other battle is a classic fight between fresh cranberry sauce against pumpkin pie. The cranberries came out of the fruits & veggies region, where the competition was admittedly suspect. How will they hold up against the champion dessert? You make the call. How it works: HeraldNet polls decide which dishes advance in each round and which get fed to the dog. The voting schedule: • Round 1, Nov. 8-10; • Round 2, Nov. 11-14; • Round 3 (Sweet 16), Nov. 14-16; • Round 4 (Edible 8), Nov. 16-18; • Final Four, Nov. 18-21; • Championship, Nov. 22-23.
