It's being with family. That's the answer first-graders and second-graders from Grove Elementary School in Marysville and Maltby Elementary School said when asked about what they enjoy the most about Thanksgiving. They may not know what Pilgrims are or how the first Thanksgiving was ever celebrated. What they do know is that Thanksgiving is about spending time with the family, being together and having a feast, especially eating turkey. Playing outside and watching TV were also other things they enjoyed about the holiday. Here are other answers from Carrie Franco's first-grade class and Sara Skibba's second-grade class at Grove Elementary. Students from the first- and second-grade class of Sharon Bostrom of Maltby Elementary also told us how they celebrate Thanksgiving. Click here to open the slide show.
