For 62 years now, this parade of big lighted ships with choral groups aboard and a flotilla of decorated boats visits different ports every night of the holiday season.
You can make reservations to ride aboard the lead ship or one of the smaller parade boats, or you can gather at a park where crowds party around a bonfire and enjoy the free concert on the water.
Tonight and Sunday are preview nights with special prices to ride aboard. Tickets are $12 to $25 and you can add boxed meals.
There is also a dinner cruise on another Argosy boat in the parade. Dinner cruises range from $29 for children to $99 for adults.
The parade of ships heads north Dec. 13, boarding passengers at Edmonds Marina for a 7 p.m. departure. The Everett Chorale will be aboard the big ship and will serenade people on the shore near the fishing pier. Then the parade cruises to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park for the offshore concert at 8:20 p.m. This Tuesday cruise is also a value night with prices ranging from $12 to $25.
The complete schedule and the various viewing points for the whole month are on the website, www.argosycruises.com, or call 206-623-1445 to make a reservation.
