Without fanfare, the USS Abraham Lincoln is about to leave the Everett port it has called home for 15 years. The Lincoln will be leaving at 10 a.m. Wednesday for deployment and then will travel to its new home on the East Coast. No public events are planned for the departure of the ship, which has been the pride of Everett since 1997. Before the aircraft carrier pulls out for the final time, take a look back with these photo galleries. Or submit your own photo in our reader photo gallery. If you have stories or memories of the Lincoln you would like to share, email them to reporter Gale Fiege at gfiege@heraldnet.com Photo galleries:The Lincoln through the yearsUSS Abraham Lincoln arrivalsThe USS Abraham Lincoln
