Marysville police to discuss two sex offenders

MARYSVILLE -- Police plan a public meeting for people to learn about two convicted sex offenders who will be living in Marysville.

Both will be living in the 4900 block of 61st Street NE.

James Robert Jurss, 25, is a Level III offender, the level deemed most likely to reoffend. He is described as white, 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds. He has black hair and blue eyes.

In 2009, Jurss pleaded guilty to communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. He also was convicted of criminal sexual assault in Illinois.

Robert Michael Boersma, 22, also is a Level III offender. He is described as white, 6-foot and 175 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Boersma pleaded guilty to second-degree child molestation in Snohomish County in June.

The informational meeting is planned for 7 tonight at the police station at 1635 Grove Street.
