Prep girls basketball: Lynnwood 53, Monroe 50

MONROE -- Lynnwood guard Jasmin Edwards led all scorers with 19 points and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line for the Royals in their nonleague win. Monroe forward Ashley Alexander scored 11 points and totaled nine rebounds before an injury forced her early exit with 1:30 remaining in the game.
