Pedestrian’s death in Everett ruled an accident

EVERETT -- The death of a pedestrian in south Everett on Sunday night has been ruled an accident.
Officials on Monday identified the woman as Lois A. Roylance, 62, of Seattle.
Police believe Roylance was fatally struck by a car while crossing 19th Avenue SE. They believe she was staying at a nearby hotel.
The woman was not in a crosswalk at the time of the crash, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said. The driver of the car, 39, of Everett was not arrested.
The crash remained under investigation Monday, Goetz said.
