Freewheelers Square Dance Club: Dances are 7 to 10 p.m. first, third and some fifth Sundays at the Lake City Community Center, 12531 28th Ave. NE, Seattle (nice wood floor). New 14-week dance classes will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays at the same club; next session runs from Jan. 18 to April 18. Classes will be held the same nights from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $6 per dance night, $5 per class night; partners are not required; singles and couples welcome. Hayloft dance: With DJ Merly Camarino on the second Saturday of the month. Dance lessons from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by dancing from 8 to 11 p.m. And with Ron Bolin, the "dancin' DJ," on the fourth Saturday of the month. Ballrooom, Latin and swing dance: with DJ Terry West at Jay's Dance Experience, 18005 Aurora Ave. N. (above the Highland Ice Arena), Seattle.
