Arlington | Boys basketball
The Eagles forward hit the game-winning shot with 11 seconds to play, two of his 16 points in the fourth quarter, in a 65-63 win over Kamiak and poured in 26 points and six rebounds in a win over Mariner. Dawn finished with 33 points in the win over the Knights.

MARGREET BARHOUM
Meadowdale | Girls basketball
After being snowed in on a trip to Wyoming on New Year's Eve, the Mavericks guard returned home to score 19 points, record nine assists and six steals in a win over Shorewood and had 11 points, six assists and five steals in an win over Mountlake Terrace to help the Mavs climb back to .500 in Wesco 3A.

NATHAN PROFFIT
Snohomish | Wrestling
The Panthers wrestler pinned his opponents in the first round in matches against Monroe and Lake Stevens and won the championship in the 195-pound weight class in the Panther Classic on Saturday. After pinning his first two opponents in the first two matches, Proffit won the semifinal match 10-1 and won the final over Blaine's Caleb Johnson 7-6.

CARTER OSBORNE
Shorecrest | Boys swimming
In a big meet against Wesco 3A rival Oak Harbor, the Scots swimmer won the 100-yard backstroke and helped the 200-yard freestyle relay team take first place as Shorecrest outpointed the Wildcats. Osborne also took second in the 200 free and helped the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay teams take second.
