Donate: Auction items needed for Silvana Fair

The Silvana Fair Auction is set for March 10 at Viking Hall in Silvana with auctioneers George Magnochi and Dave Fenton.

The door prize at the end of the auction is $250.

Volunteer help is always needed.

Fair board members are out collecting donations from local merchants and individuals.

Apply: Service club offers scholarship

The Zonta Club of Everett is accepting applications for its Young Women in Public Affairs scholarship of $2,000.

The program recognizes young women for their leadership skills and commitment to public service and civic causes. Applicants must be age 16 through 19 and in school or working.

Apply: Photography scholarships offered

The Professional Photographers of Washington is accepting applications for the group's 2012 Student Photographer of the Year Award, a $2,000 scholarship grant for study in the photographic arts.

The award is available to all high school students graduating this year.

Professional photographers select the finalists based on photographic and scholastic studies and the desire to continue study in photography.

The application postmark deadline is March 23 and the winner will be announced in June.

Volunteer: Hospice program needs help

Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County is looking for volunteers to help visit patients, deliver supplies, work in the office and help with events.

Information sessions are scheduled the third Wednesday of each month at either 2 to 4 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m.

Donate: Breakfast a place to donate to Clothes for Kids

The Transforming Lives Breakfast to benefit Clothes for Kids is set for 7:30 a.m. Feb. 9 at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. SW.

Sharie Ennis, Clothes for Kids founding director, is scheduled to be honored at the event.

To reserve a seat, call Clothes For Kids at 425-741-6500. Thanks to event sponsors, there is no charge to attend the breakfast.

Donations to support Clothes For Kids' efforts to transform lives will be accepted.

Attend: Ducks Unlimited auction

The 19th annual Stanwood Ducks Unlimited dinner and auction is set for 5 p.m. Feb. 16 at Viking Hall on Pioneer Highway in Silvana.

The family event is open to the public.

Tickets are available online at www.ducks.org.

Discount tickets are available until Feb. 6.
