Sister has new lessons at 'Late Nite Catechism'
Be prepared to answer questions when you are in Sister's classroom.
Especially if you are engaged.
During one recent Q and A, Sister asked a couple how long they had been dating before they became engaged. The woman answered four years.
"At least he asked you to marry him," Sister said. "You were burning up your pretty time there weren't you?"
Sister is the star of what is being billed as Loretta Young meets Carol Burnett. It's part catechism class, part stand-up routine: "Late Night Catechism 3, 'Til Death Do Us Part."
It's an intimate, interactive comedic adventure with you as student as Sister uses her deadpan humor and one-line zingers to put you in a most unholy state of hilarity.
Sister, who is played by a variety of actresses, is offering lessons on the Sacraments of Marriage and the Last Rites, including her own wacky version of "The Newlywed Game."
This show is fresh on the heels of last season's sold-out "Late Nite Catechism," where Sister taught students about the saints, venial sins and limbo, according to a press release.
Classroom participation is one of the rules, so be prepared to be called on by this feisty counselor of the cloth.
"Late Night Catechism 3: 'Til Death Do Us Part" starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Northshore Performing Arts Center, 18125 92nd. Ave. NE, Bothell.
