Duck hunting closed around here on Jan. 29, but the last two weeks of the season -- featuring a lot of rough weather -- was spectacular, according to Anthon Steen at Holiday Sports in Burlington.
The fields were covered with birds and everybody got in on the action, Steen said.
Brant season, he added, was a little slow for the first few days, but improved over the final three days.
