EVERETT -- Police are asking for the public's help finding an Everett woman who's been missing for most of this week.

Meara Lynn Nichols, 33, was last seen about 6 a.m. Monday at her home in the 6800 block of Commercial Avenue, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.

Nichols was reported missing by her husband. He has cooperated with detectives and is not considered a suspect in her disappearance, Goetz said.

Nichols did not have a vehicle, and she left behind personal belongings such as her purse.

Nichols is described as 5-foot-1 and 110 pounds. She has hazel eyes, dark brown hair and a piercing in her lower left lip. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black Carhartt jacket and black shoes with white soles. She also wore black-rimmed glasses and a black baseball-style cap.

Anyone with information is urged to call detectives at 425-257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 800-222-TIPS.
