Is your teen so, like, over V-Day?
How do you feel about Valentine's Day? Love it, hate it, just not into it? The Edmonds Library tunes in to teens with a free Be My Valentine/Anti-Valentine event at 4 p.m. today,
There will be heart and broken heart cookies to decorate, "iPod" love and unlove valentines to make, and lots of chocolate for soothing or celebrating.

The Arlington Library goes all the way "anti" with a party for teens at 3 p.m. Thursday. They say they will have cranky crafts, moody music and spiteful snacks. Partygoers are encouraged to dress appropriately in bummer black and rancorous red.

If you're so over the whole Valentine's Day debate move on to something different at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Everett Library: a make a comic workshop.
David Lasky, a Seattle artist and teacher, who's been creating comics and zines for more than 20 years, will conduct the workshop for teens and adults. Lasky's work has been in The Comics Journal, The Stranger and other publications. His "Urban Hipster" series was nominated for an industry award.
The workshop will be held in the Everett Library's main auditorium, 2702 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Call 425-257-8000 or see the website, www.epls.org for more information.
