Ballots at library belong in ballot boxes, not in book drops
Some voters who take their special election ballots to the Edmonds or Lynnwood libraries apparently have been putting them into the book drops rather than the ballot drop boxes.
Others have asked library staff members to take their ballots.
All of this causes problems both for the library staff and for elections officials.
So county elections officials ask voters not to put ballots in library book drops or to ask library staff members to take ballots.
Ballots must be in the 24-hour drop boxes by 8 p.m. Tuesday,
