The National Lacrosse League announced its full rosters for the 2012 All-Star game on Wednesday. Washington Stealth forward Rhys Duch and transition player Paul Rabil were selected to play for the West Division team.
The All-Star game will be held Saturday, Feb. 25 in Buffalo.
Duch has nine goals and 11 assists in four games this season. He scored four goals, including the overtime game-winner, in last Saturday’s victory over Buffalo. It was the Stealth’s first victory of the season.
]Rabil has tallied eight points (three goals, five assists) and collected 25 loose balls this season. He collected six loose balls, scored a goal and had two assists in the Stealth’s victory over the Bandits.
Duch and Rabil were also named the league’s Offensive Player of the Week and Transition Player of the Week, respectively, on Wednesday.
Stealth head coach Chris Hall is scheduled to be the coach of the West All-Star’s and said in the league’s weekly conference call on Wednesday that he expects to be on the sideline to coach that game. Hall has missed all of the Stealth’s games this season as he recovers from treatment for throat cancer.
