NLL Power Rankings: Week 4

Mammoth still perfect, still on top

1. Colorado Mammoth (5-0), The Mammoth earned an 11-7 victory over the Edmonton Rush to stay perfect on the season. They are quickly running away with the West Division and the playoff road will likely go through Colorado.

2. Toronto Rock (3-2), The Rock have officially rebounded from their 0-2 start by winning three straight. A win over Philadelphia last weekend has them back in the driver's seat in the East Division.

3. Calgary Roughnecks (2-2), The Roughnecks had the weekend off last weekend and get the struggling Washington Stealth this Friday at Comcast Arena. The Roughnecks have already beaten the Stealth once this season and need another win this weekend to stay within shouting distance of Colorado.

4. Philadelphia Wings (2-2), The Wings stay on top of the East Division didn't last long, but the much improved bunch from Philadelphia should continue to be a major player in the East.

5. Buffalo Bandits (2-3), The Bandits suffered a disappointing overtime loss to the Stealth at home last weekend. The Bandits have a chance to get right back in the mix on Sunday when they face the Wings.

6. Rochester Knighthawks (2-3), The Knighthawks opened the season with a win before dropping three straight. They ended the losing streak with a victory over Minnesota last weekend, but the jury is still out on how good this team is or can be.

7. Edmonton Rush (1-2), The Rush suffered their second loss of the season to Colorado, this time by four goals after losing by one the first time around. The Rush are a good young team, but they have a ways to go to compete with the big boys in the league such as the Mammoth.

8. Washington Stealth (1-3), The Stealth finally got their first win of 2012 by knocking off the Bandits in overtime. The Stealth's record is still far worse than expected, but a good sign for them is that the entire team showed up to play last weekend for the first time this season.

9. Minnesota Swarm (1-2), The Swarm lost a close game to Rochester and they continue to be up and down in the early part of the season. With two games next weekend, we should learn a little bit more about the Swarm.
