Nuts and Bolts: ‘House Party’ theme for Seattle Home Show

"We're Having a House Party" is the theme of this year's Seattle Home Show, which runs Feb. 18 to 26 at Century Link Event Center.

In addition to more than 500 home and garden displays, Seattle Home Show 2012 offers wine tastings, A "Made in America" display, a new products pavilion, and free antiques and art appraisals.

The appraisals with Discovery Channel's Dr. Lori and the Auction Kings are Feb. 21 and 22.

The show hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays, and noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for age 60 and over, $3 for ages 7 to 15, and free for kids under 7. You can register to take in the show a second day for free.

Purchase tickets online at www.SeattleHomeShow.com and receive free parking at Century Link Field. Parking will also be available at Safeco Field, and vehicles with four or more can park for free.

Century Link Event Center is at 1000 Occidental Ave. S., Seattle.
