Man says he was held against his will in Mukilteo apartment

MUKILTEO -- Police in Mukilteo arrested three people Thursday for investigation of unlawful imprisonment after a man reported being held against his will in an apartment overnight.

Patrol officers were called an apartment near the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard around 8:30 a.m. after the man called to say he had been kidnapped, Mukilteo police Officer Cheol Kang said.

As officers were arriving, one of the suspects pulled into the parking lot and immediately drove away, Kang said. Officers followed the vehicle through Harbour Pointe to the Mukilteo Speedway. When they attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver lost control and crashed into the curb near the intersection of Chennault Beach Road, Kang said.

He was arrested and had outstanding warrants for eluding police, escape and possession of a controlled substance, Kang said.

Two other suspects were arrested at the apartment, Kang said.
