MILL CREEK -- A Mega Millions player Thursday morning claimed his $250,000 prize.

Cecil Brooks of Mill Creek told Washington Lottery officials that he plans to use the money to pay off debts. Brooks, 39, bought the winning ticket from a convenience store in Bothell.

Three jackpots are still up for grabs, for Powerball, Lotto and Hit 5. The jackpots have now rolled to $310 million, $5.6 million and $640,000.

According to Washington Lottery, Powerball is now at the highest jackpot since the game's 2010 debut in the state, and Hit 5's is now the third-highest Hit 5 jackpot in state history.

The next drawings for Powerball, Lotto and Hit 5 are set for Saturday. The next Mega Millions drawing is today.

If someone were to win Saturday's Powerball drawing, it would be the biggest jackpot ever won in state history and the second-highest nationally, according to Washington's Lottery. The biggest Hit 5 jackpot in state history was $670,000, won in 2008.
