Front Porch: Dads and daughters can dance tonight

Daddies, daughters

Dance the night away with your daughter and capture a magic moment for you both from 6-8 tonight at the Lynnwood Recreation Center.

Cost is $10 per person.

Dancing, refreshments and picture opportunities are all a part of this evening.

Advance registration is highly recommended. Parent and child register separately.

For girls ages 5-13.

The Recreation Center is located at 18900 44th Ave. W in Lynnwood.

Dinner and auction: The 19th annual Stanwood Ducks Unlimited dinner and auction is set for 5 p.m. Thursday at Viking Hall on Pioneer Highway in Silvana.

The family event is open to the public.

Tickets are available online at www.ducks.org.



Knitting group: Knitters of all skill levels are invited to gain knowledge and build skills at a knitting group that will be held the next two Thursdays at the Mukilteo Library, located at 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd., Mukilteo.

Beginners are asked to bring No. 8 or No. 9 needles and a skein of worsted-weight yarn.
