3A Northwest District Swim Championships

MARYSVILLE -- Oak Harbor's Josh and Jacob each won two events and helped power two relay teams to victories but the Wildcats couldn't compete with the depth of Shorewood and Shorecrest as the two Shoreline schools finished first and second, respectively, in the 3A Northwest District Boys Swimming Championships at Marysville Pilchuck H.S. on Saturday.

Jacob Jepsen (200 freestyle, 100 backstroke) and Josh Jepsen (200 individual medley, 100 breaststroke) weren't the only Oak Harbor winners on the day as Caley Powers won the 100 butterfly in a time of 55.80.

Glacier Peak's Camden Wunderlich also took first and qualified for state in the 500 freestyle.

Carter Osborne took first in the 100 freestyle and also swam on the Scots winning 400 freestyle relay team.
