No separation of church/state?

Concerning the letter on Sen. Paull Shin's letter to his constituents: I believe the writer's anger is too focused. Sen. Shin was not the only one who voted against the same-sex marriage bill, and most who did used the same rational as Sen. Shin.

When did it become the mission of our legislators to impose their religious views upon their constituents? Perhaps they will be happy when our country joins the ranks of Saudi Arabia, Iran and Afganistan. Has anyone ever heard the expression "Separation of church and state"?

I thought their job was to protect the rights of all their constituents. Not just those who pray in the right church and share their beliefs. These people are starting to scare me!

When you vote for your respective state legislator, remember how that person voted.
