Stealth deal Rabil for Iannucci

The Washington Stealth traded away one of the faces of their franchise on Monday when they sent Paul Rabil to the Edmonton Rush in exchange for Athan Iannucci and a first-round draft pick in 2012.

Rabil, an all-star this season has three goals and five assists in five games. The Stealth, though, have struggled offensively and general manager Doug Locker said that a deal had to be made.

"It was a difficult decision," Locker said. "Paul has given a lot to the organization and has a ton of lacrosse experience. But we just had to make a move."

Iannucci, who lives in Coquitlum, British Colombia, said that he was pleased with the trade.

"I couldn't be happier," Iannucci said. "Locationally it's the closest place to me."
