Find out why reading is magic at Everett library

Books do teach you stuff. Like magic.

Just check out Louie Foxx as he performs his magic show Saturday at the Evergreen Branch of the Everett Public Library.

Louie Foxx learned lots of techniques for his show from books. And "The Reading is Magic Show" is not just about magic but also offers comedy.

Other ways Foxx will amaze you with his book knowledge include:

•How he will make his head shrink.

How he balances a 4-foot spoon on his arm.

How he demonstrates different types of soap bubbles.

"The Reading is Magic Show" is 2 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Branch, 9512 Evergreen Way, Everett.

This is a free event. For more information call 425-257–8025.
