Seattle sergeant arrested for DUI

SEATTLE -- Seattle police confirm that a city police sergeant was arrested last weekend for investigation of drunken driving.

KOMO-TV said dispatch records show Sgt. Joe Fountain was stopped early Saturday morning after a report that a vehicle was being driven erratically.

Records show the car was an unmarked Seattle Police Department vehicle and damage was visible on it.

State troopers were called to assist in the investigation.

KOMO said the driver was transported to Harborview Medical Center to have a blood sample taken. Fountain was cited and released to a Seattle police captain.
