No complaining if you didn't vote

Recently I had a conversation with an individual who was complaining about politicians in this country. After listening for a few minutes, I asked him who he voted for in the last presidential election. His response was something I will not easily forget. He said no one. Unfortunately, I think that is a common thing in our country. Far too many people complain and complain but then don't even vote.

I have heard many times from various people that one vote does not mean much, but I will vehemently disagree with that. My vote is something no one will ever take from me and it is my chance to express myself, and I never take it for granted. As I always say, if you have the ability to vote and do not do so or simply just choose to not vote then you forfeit your right to complain.
