    Phil, a bichons frises, waits for the competition at the136th annual Westminster Kennel Club dog show on Monday in New York.

The 136th Westminster Kennel Club dog show began on Monday in New York. More than 2,000 dogs, representing 185 breeds, compete for glory. The contest culminates tonight with the selection of Best in Show. The show starts at 8 p.m. Western time on USA. Be warned, the coverage is on a time delay, so if you don't want spoilers, avoid the Westminster site after 5 p.m.
