Body found at Grand Coulee ID'd as missing woman

GRAND COULEE -- The Grant County coroner confirms that a body uncovered by melting snow in Grand Coulee is that of a woman who disappeared last month.

Coroner Craig Morrison on Monday identified the body as that of Jamie Marie Breckenridge, 42, of Grand Coulee. After an autopsy, he said further investigation will be needed to determine the cause and manner of death.

Sheriff's spokesman Kyle Foreman said the body was found Sunday by a neighbor near the intersection of Highway 174 and Highway 155.

Foreman said she disappeared Jan. 10 from Grand Coulee.
