Seahawks add four coaches to staff

RENTON — The Seattle Seahawks announced four new coaching hires Tuesday, two full-time hires, one coaching assistant and one coaching intern.

Keith Carter, most recently the offensive line coach/running game coordinator at the University of San Diego, will be a quality control coach/offense. Marquand Manuel, who played for the Seahawks in 2004 and 2005, will be the assistant special teams coach. Manuel is known to Seahawks fans as a member of the 2005 Super Bowl team, and had an interception in the NFC championship game.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll also hired two members of head coach Steve Sarkisian's staff at the University of Washington. John Glenn was hired as a coaching assistant/special teams after spending the last two seasons as a quality control coach for the Huskies. Kenechi Udeze was hired as a coaching intern/defensive line. He spent the last three seasons as an assistant strength coach at Washington.

Also, the Seahawks' Rocky Seto was promoted from assistant defensive backs coach to defensive passing game coordinator.
