Front Porch: Plant trees to help salmon

Qwuloolt opportunity

Help the organization Sound Salmon Solutions plant trees Saturday at this nationally recognized estuarine restoration site on the Qwuloolt marsh site.

Volunteers can learn about estuarine ecosystems, especially the Qwuloolt marsh's significance as one of the last remaining estuaries on the Snohomish River. Trees planted should improve habitat for salmon.

Bring a sack lunch, water bottle, warm clothes and boots.
