Pedestrian struck and killed at Airway Heights

AIRWAY HEIGHTS -- A pedestrian has been struck and killed in Airway Heights.

It happened about 6 a.m. Wednesday at 9th and Hayford.

The victim reportedly is a man in his 50s with a disability who was crossing the road to get to a bus stop. He died at the scene.

Witnesses say the SUV that struck him was speeding.
