Davidson named GM of Silvertips

The Everett Silvertips introduced Garry Davidson as their general manager at an afternoon press conference Wednesday.

Davidson comes to the Western Hockey League team from the Portland Winterhawks, where he served as director of player personnel.

Davidson replaces Doug Soetaert, who was fired Feb. 2.
