Crane falls into water at Seattle shipyard

SEATTLE -- The operator of a crane that fell into the water at Vigor Shipyards in Seattle has been taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore told KOMO the operator was rescued from the water by a fire department crew and medics.

The accident happened about 12:30 p.m. at the shipyard on Harbor Island formerly known as Todd Shipyards.
