Tri-Cities builder constructing home made with all-USA materials

KENNEWICK -- Tri-Cities builder Aaron Sullivan of Titan Homes says he'll construct a home using materials all made in America.

He got the idea from a Montana contractor doing the same thing and says the idea is to support jobs in the USA.

KNDO reports Sullivan is meeting with suppliers and sub-contractors to make sure they have the needed products.

Sullivan expects that using USA-made materials will add about 2 percent or $7,000 to the cost of the 2,200-square-foot house. He hopes to break ground on Feb. 24 in Kennewick.
