Song of the week: Daydream Vacation’s ‘Clever Is Not My Best Excuse’

Our song of the week was an easy pick this week. It’s the new song/video “Clever Is Not My Best Excuse” from Seattle’s Daydream Vacation. The song is catchy and extremely danceable. Daydream Vacation is the duo of Dave from Head Like a Kite and Asya from Smoosh.
The combination of Dave’s excellent production and Asya’s beautiful voice is a huge win and after watching this video it’s clear these two are having a ton of fun.
I case you aren't yet familiar, Daydream Vacation is the duo of Dave from Head Like a Kite and Asya from Smoosh. This is the debut video from their album Dare Seize the Fire which is set for a June 19th release. If you like what you see and want to be involved in the release of the record you are in luck.
Daydream Vacation recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to finish mixing the new record. There are some pretty sweet rewards involved for contributors.
