EVERETT -- Snohomish County Treasurer Kirke Sievers' office on Friday mailed statements for property taxes due this year.
The information also can be viewed online at www1.co.snohomish.wa.us/Departments/Treasurer/.
The county Assessor's Office oversees tax-relief programs for senior citizens, some disabled people and others. For more information, see the back side of the tax statement or go to the assessor's website at http://assessor.snoco.org.
Tax bills vary by area but on average will decrease by about $100 in 2012. The county calculated these property taxes using property assessments mailed in April and June last year.
