Rogers scores 22 as UW women beat Arizona
TUCSON, Ariz. — Regina Rogers scored 22 points and Washington beat Arizona 68-59 on Sunday, snapping a two-game losing streak.
Jazmine Davis added 17 points and Mollie Williams grabbed 13 rebounds for the Huskies (14-11, 6-9). Washington trailed 18-6 early in the game and 47-41 midway through the second half before a 20-2 run allowed the Huskies to take control.
Shanita Arnold led Arizona (14-13, 3-12) with 19 points and a game-high four steals. Davellyn White had 16 points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats, who had ended an eight-game losing streak on Thursday by beating Washington State.
