Kids' museum is open today

In case you haven't noticed the kids are home from school today and Imagine Children's Museum in Everett is open for play. Usually closed on Mondays, the kid happy place has special holiday hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Since its Presidents Day, the museum folks are encouraging youngsters to come dressed as their favorite president or create their own costume in the art studio where George Washington wig- and hat-making supplies will be provided.

Admission is $7.95 for anyone over the age of 1. Imagine Children's Museum is at 1502 Wall St., Everett. Check out the details at www.imaginecm.org or call 425-258-1006.
