Dawson repeats as NLL Offensive Player of the Week

Philadelphia Wings forward Dan Dawson has been awarded his second straight National Lacrosse League Offensive Player of the Week award the league announced on Wednesday.

Dawson had a hat-trick and seven assists in the Wings 14-8 victory over Toronto on Saturday. It was his second consecutive 10-point game. With the win, the Wings took over sole possession of first place in the NLL's East Division.

Dawson's teammate Kevin Crowley earned the league's Rookie of the Week award for his performance against Toronto. Crowley had a hat-trick of his own and dished five assists against the Rock. He leads all NLL rookies with 17 goals this season.

Rochester defenseman Pat McCready took home the Defensive Player of the Week award and Calgary's Geoff Snider won the league's Transition Player of the Week award.
