Ratcliff and Beers named as replacements to West All-Stars




The National Lacrosse League announced three substitutions for injured players for the 2012 NLL All-Star Game on Tuesday.

Washington Stealth forward Lewis Racliff will replace his injured teammate Rhys Duch. Matt Beers of the Stealth was also named to the team, replacing Chris Corbeil of the Edmonton Rush.

Scott Self of the Buffalo Bandits was also named to the East All-Stars replacing Colin Doyle

Ratcliff is making his sixth all-star appearance. He is tied for the team-lead in goals with Duch at 14 and is second on the team in points with 29.

Beers is making his first all-star appearance. He has collected 17 loose balls for the Stealth this season and has also scored three goals and dished four assists.

The All-Star game will be held at 4 p.m. in Buffalo this Saturday.
