Area legislators schedule town hall meetings in Mukilteo and Edmonds

MUKILTEO -- Residents of Mukilteo, Edmonds and Lynnwood will get two chances Saturday to question their state representatives on proposals for budget cuts, education reforms and other new laws.

Sen. Paull Shin, D-Edmonds and state Reps. Marko Liias, D-Edmonds and Mary Helen Roberts, D-Lynnwood, will host a pair of town hall meetings that are open to the public.

From 10:30 a.m. to noon, the trio will be in the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. in Mukilteo. Starting at 1:30 p.m. they will be in the City Council chambers in Edmonds, 121 Fifth Ave. N.
