Plenty of Snohomish County Republicans on Romney team
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney did a bit of name-dropping today as he looks to build up steam heading into this Saturday's caucuses.
He announced his “Grassroots Leadership Team” which is essentially a list of endorsements from Republicans across the state.
U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers tops the chart. Also included are former Gov. Dan Evans and the most popular GOP member not in politics, Dino Rossi.
Romney, who is scheduled to be in Bellevue on Thursday, also identified Republicans organizing in the trenches in the congressional districts, legislative districts and cities.
He's got team leaders in 14 cities of which seven are in Snohomish County – Arlington, Bothell, Everett, Granite Falls, Lake Stevens, Marysville and Snohomish.
