Huskies top Oregon State in WNIT tourney

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Center Regina Rogers scored a game-high 23 points to lead the University of Washington over Oregon State 55-49, the Huskies' third consecutive victory in the Women's NIT.
Rogers also grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds, seven coming on the offensive boards and contributing to the Huskies' 15 second-chance points. By contrast, Oregon State had just five second-chance points.
Mollie Williams was the Huskies' second-leading scorer, coming off the bench to contribute 12 points, grab eight rebounds and dish out one assist. No other Huskies scored in double figures.
The Beavers were led by forward Earlysia Marchbanks' 20 points and game-high 12 rebounds.
Washington took control in the second half after the teams were tied 25-25 at the break.
