Edmonds police arrest two burglary suspects

EDMONDS -- An alert neighbor helped Edmonds police capture two suspected burglars on Wednesday.
The neighbor called 911 about 11 a.m. after seeing suspicious activity at a home in the 23900 block of 104th Avenue W., Edmonds police Sgt. Mike Blackburn said.
The neighbor told police they saw two people in dark clothing knock on the front door of a home while the residents were away, Blackburn said. The people then disappeared, and the neighbor heard loud banging noises before seeing the people carrying items into a nearby car.
The witness was able to give police part of the car's license plate.
Edmonds police soon spotted the vehicle, pulled it over and arrested a Seattle man and Renton woman inside, Blackburn said.
The two were arrested for investigation of burglary.
