LOVELAND, Colo. — Colorado thwarted every Everett comeback attempt, and the Ice defeated the Raptors 49-36 in an Indoor Football League game on Saturday night.
The Raptors grabbed their only lead with 12:55 left in the second quarter when quarterback Brian Bolles threw a touchdown pass to Travis Poole to make it 11-7.
Colorado came back quickly with two touchdowns and two field goals to take a 27-14 lead into the half. The Ice led the rest of the way.
Bolles finished 8-for-27 for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Andre Piper-Jordan led Everett with 62 yards receiving to go along with his one touchdown.
With the loss, the Raptors fall to 1-4 on the season. Their next game is on Thursday, April 5 against the Nebraska Danger.
