Edmonds-Woodway's Patrick Bernard and the Warriors are ranked No. 6 in the scoreczar.com 4A state baseball rankings.

The website scoreczar.com, which specializes in "scary accurate" computer rankings for prep teams in the state of Washington, recently released its baseball rankings and a few local teams made it into the top 10.

In 4A, Lake Stevens (1-0 Wesco North, 5-0 overall) and Edmonds-Woodway (3-0 South, 5-1) are ranked No. 5 and 6, respectively, and Marysville Pilchuck (1-0 North, 4-1) is No. 8.

There are no local teams in the 3A top 10, but Shorewood, which lost to current No. 7 Mount Si in the 3A title game last season, is ranked No. 15 in the poll. Mount Vernon, which will be playing in 4A Wesco North next year, is No. 1 after pitching shutouts in seven of its first eight games.

Archbishop Murphy (8-0 Cascade, 8-0) is No. 5 in 2A and Cedarcrest (4-0, 5-2) is just outside the top 10 at No. 11.
